Fuzzy focus

I just ran into an old friend of mine and we took a little stroll down memory lane. What a way to make your head spin....I haven't even thought about most of those people for so long. Tana and Joe are still together good for them! That's a long story for a much later day. The onlything I can think about now is all the people I used to know...everything we've been through...how much I've changed in those few years...Life is an amazing thing and people are pretty amazing too...not even in what they do day-to-day or ever just that they are here in your, my and everyone's lives to touch us, to talk to us, and to just be. All I have to say is wow.

Hurray!

From the time I left my house to the time I got to class today I've done two random acts of kindness! Within ten minutes of my fourty five minute drive I had one started. Driving down the oh so foggy road I spotted someone's hazard lights so I pulled over. Three people (two guys and a girl) about my age (17) had run out of gas so close to the gas station so I kicked up the heat *it was about 15 degrees this morning* and drove them to the gas station. We all ended up late for school, but at least they didn't freeze! They had a lizard in the car too....so the poor thing wasn't happy in the cold either. When I got to school I was late but I took a few extra seconds to hold the door open for a few guys that looked like they all had bad mornings. Two for today in a little over an hour! Woo-hoo!

Hello, and welcome to my life!

My name is Teresa. I am currently doing an Ultimate Black Belt Test and I am online asking for help. I have a personal goal of completing one thousand random acts of kindness by March 19th 2006. I have another goal of inspiring ten thousand random acts of kindness by March 19th 2006. My boss, Keith, has brought me into this test along with him. One of his personal goals is to change September 11th as we know it. Think back to that fateful day...think back to the week after...two weeks after... Who were you? You were a person. A human being. If you live in the U.S., you were American. No one cared if you were black, white, tall, purple, had seven fingers on one hand, we're blind, deaf or in a wheelchair. There was a group of people that were overly discriminated against and that was wrong. We owe it to those people to spread good karma to make up for all of the negativity the media puts out today.
Today, our U.S. of A is divided. The election was not a fun thing for approximately half of the country. Had the tables swung the other way, the other half of the country would be rather shaken. We sit today as a nation of two. We are the Semi-United States of America. Let's all work together to change that. Lets become the United People of the World. If one million people do one random act of kindness within the next year, we've created one million acts of good karma for our entire planet. I think everyone could use a little more good karma don't you? Lets spread the happiness. Rename the day of horror and tragedy and replace that with a united day of hope. In a planet of billions, one million isn't really so much to ask is it?
If you decide to help me out you are more than welcome to post a comment here or e-mail me at millionacts@hotmail.com. For the random acts, they DO need to be recorded. The information I ask of you is your name (Doesn't have to be full name, First name and Last inital will suffice, or First Initial and Last name), the date of your random act, and exactly what you did. Opening a door for a stranger, giving up your seat on the bus for a tired worn out person, helping a parent unload groceries to help them get their kids out of the store and into the car all count. I'm sure people can be creative and come up with a number of them on their own. I will also be doing a commercial on annarboralive.com on the cornicoupia and news channels with in the next week or so. Any and all help will be more than appreciated. I send good karma out to all of those who read and consider this challenge. I send my special thanks to those that act.
